COMTek WINS A-76 CONTRACT FOR IT SERVICES AT NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD

Communication Technologies, Inc. (COMTek) wins contract with the Department of The Navy, Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, to provide Information Technology (IT) Service for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Computer Center located in Portsmouth, Virginia.

The five-year contract with the Navy, valued at over $2M, was awarded by FISC Norfolk Acquisition Department based on most favorable evaluation of COMTek’s proposal versus the government’s performance in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations 7.306 and Office of Management and Budget Circular No. A-76

The contract award decision is subject to an appeal period and approval from Congress for the conversion process before becoming final.
