COMTek WINS CONTRACT WITH DISA FOR SCIENTIFIC, ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO THE NATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM

Communication Technologies, Inc. (COMTek) wins contract with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), to provide Scientific, Engineering and Technical Assistance to the National Communications System (NCS-SETA).

The five-year IDIQ contract with DISA, with a guaranteed minimum value of $710,000, was competitively awarded to COMTek based on best overall values, cost and other factors considered in the 8 (a) category.

The scope of this SETA contract is to provide scientific, engineering, technical analysis and programmatic support, and recommendations to NCS. This Scientific, Engineering and Technical Analysis effort is in support of the NCS mission of assisting the Executive Office of the President in ensuring the provisioning and restoration of adequate National Security and Emergency Preparedness (NS/EP) telecommunications support for the Federal Government is available under all conditions. This support encompasses the areas of telecommunications architecture, telecommunications networking, emergency communications, satellite communications, wireless communications, National communications policy, automated telecommunications, telecommunications operations, restoration protocols, and Federal telecommunications standards.
